Yes. ScreenFTP had been tested on LCD displays, flatscreen
monitors and CRTs successfully.
How fast is ScreenFTP?
Currently speeds of up to 1300 bytes/s have been reached, however
the actual transmission speed is affected by glare and the type of monitor
that you are using.
Can I send information from my phone to a PC with this
software?
No. This software only allows for information to be sent from
the monitor to the phone, and not the other way.
Is my file sent over the Internet?
No. The transmission screen compiles and transmits the file
from your computer. No information regarding your file is sent over the
internet.
What devices is ScreenFTP currently available on?
Currently ScreenFTP is only available on the Nokia 6600.
Software for other phones will be added in the future.
What files can I transmit using ScreenFTP?
Anything! Images, software, sounds, songs, themes,
screensavers and text documents are just a few examples. Even if your phone
doesn't have the software to display the files, the file will still be sent
correctly and can then be sent to another device. For example, if you were
working on a document that you wanted to store on your phone and then edit on
your computer at home later, you could still send it to your phone even if it
was in a format that your phone could not display.

Can I copy the ScreenFTP software on my phone?

however you wish. Any attempt to edit or reverse engineer the software however
is illegal.

No. The transmission software is under copyright and it is
illegal to copy it and run it from somewhere else.
